Where there is currently still a green field, there will be excavation and construction work from March 2025. We are building a large storage facility with an installed capacity of over 22 megawatt hours for our customer, the energy transition company CCE, in Halle an der Saale. The stand-alone system can be used to flexibilise renewable energy for around 3,600 households and make it available even on days with less sun or wind.
‘We are looking forward to the realisation of our first joint project with CCE, in which we will cover the complete integration in addition to the hardware. We are delighted to be working with an international energy transition company to advance the battery storage sector and contribute our expertise,’ said our COO Philipp Knaup. We are planning commissioning for late summer 2025.
CCE is an international energy transition company. From its headquarters in Vienna, CCE develops and delivers clean energy solutions based on photovoltaic systems and battery storage in seven countries – along the entire value chain from project development and financing to construction, operation, maintenance and energy management. The company is expanding its portfolio to include battery storage systems and is planning further projects for 2025.
