Energy storage provider INTILION has successfully commissioned a large-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) in Kappel, Canton of Solothurn, together with Primeo Energie. The facility currently comprises four battery storage systems with a total of 16 battery containers, providing approximately 65 MWh of energy storage capacity and 25 MW of power output. The expansion to a fifth storage system has already been commissioned and will increase the total capacity to approximately 80 MWh and 30 MW by autumn 2026.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
