Electromobility with energy storage solutions in Aachen
In cooperation with RWTH Aachen University and the grid operator Regionetz GmbH, electromobility was enabled with energy storage solutions in Aachen. Therefore, an INTILION I scalebloc was installed. The battery storage supports the energy for ten 11 kW charging columns to ensure full charging power.
Project description
Electromobility with energy storage solutions in Aachen is made possible by the INTILION scalebloc. In cooperation with RWTH Aachen University and the Aachen network operator Regionetz GmbH, an INTILION I scalebloc was put into operation at the Regionetz headquarters. By extending the grid connection power to be provided, the battery storage system supports the energy for ten 11kW charging columns to ensure full charging capacity. This enables Regionetz to avoid peak loads, reduce grid charges and implement electromobility with energy storage solutions in Aachen.
It was impressive how quick and uncomplicated the assembly of the scalebloc was.
