CATL and INTILION strengthen partnership to accelerate energy transition in DACH region, targeting 10 GWh energy storage deployment

Partnership will explore dual cooperation models and leverage each company’s strengths to drive battery energy storage growth across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

Paderborn, Munich. CATL, a global leader in innovative new energy technologies, and INTILION, an european leading provider of intelligent energy storage and battery solutions in Europe, today announced the signing of a partnership agreement to jointly deploy battery energy storage systems (BESS) across the DACH region. Together, they plan to deploy up to 10 GWh of energy storage capacity over the next five years, supporting the region’s transition to more flexible, reliable, and sustainable energy.

As part of the collaboration, CATL will supply INTILION with its innovative products such as the TENER series, which offer high safety, zero capacity degradation, and robust energy storage performance. In addition to this model, the two companies will explore a further mode of cooperation that leverages CATL’s strengths in providing “DC+AC” one-stop solution, aiming to enhance overall system efficiency and deployment flexibility.

Both parties have also nearly finished after-sales service authorisation for INTILION, to better support the development of Europe’s energy storage industry and energy transition.

“INTILION has extensive experience in energy storage integration in DACH region, trusted customer connections, and strong engineering skills that complement CATL’s global technology leadership,” said Tan Libin, co-president of sales and marketing of CATL. “Together, we can accelerate the energy transition in the DACH region and help move toward a zero-carbon future.”

“This marks a major step in our expansion across the DACH market,” said Dr. Andre Haubrock, CEO at INTILION. “By combining our local presence and service ability with CATL’s proven solutions, we can deliver reliable, large-scale energy storage faster and more efficiently.” INTILION as a key player in European energy transition, is based in Paderborn, Germany, and specialises in energy storage systems for commercial, industrial, and grid applications.
